UNITED KINGDOM · RESTAURANTS, CAFÉS, SPAS AND SALONS

Booking software for UK restaurants and salons, without cover fees.

The short answer

UK venues usually pay a booking platform in one of three ways: per diner seated, per new client, or a flat monthly fee. FlowHub is the flat kind, in GBP, and it adds the guest CRM, reminders, review requests and loyalty most diaries leave out.

For restaurants, cafés, spas, salons and barbers in the UK: online booking, a guest list you own, reminders, Google review requests and loyalty in one system. We set it up for you.

THE UK MARKET · CHECKED OCTOBER 2026

How booking platforms charge UK venues.

Some charge per diner, some take a cut of a new client's first visit, and some charge a flat fee by booking volume. Here's the model behind each of the main names.

TheForkRestaurantsRestaurantsMonthly fee plus a commission for each diner who books through TheFork, about €2–2.60 per guest in its euro markets. Rates depend on your contract. source 2

An honest note

Already on a flat-fee diary? Compare what's included, not just the price.

Not every UK platform charges per cover. ResDiary, for example, is commission-free on a monthly fee. If all you need is a reservation diary, that model already works for you. FlowHub's flat fee also covers the guest CRM, WhatsApp, SMS and email in one inbox, campaigns to your guest list, Google review requests and loyalty, with setup done for you. Compare plan by plan against what you use today.

WHAT YOU GET

One system for every way your guests book.

Booking, guest CRM, WhatsApp, SMS and email in one inbox, Google review requests and loyalty. Configured for how your venue actually takes bookings.

Restaurants and cafés

Tables by party size and service time

Diners book by party size and service time from your website, Google, Instagram and WhatsApp. Confirmations and reminders go out automatically to cut no-shows, and every booking adds to a guest list you own. Sunday lunch at 120 covers costs the same as a quiet Tuesday.

  • Booking from your website, Google, Instagram and WhatsApp
  • Automatic confirmations and reminders
  • Guest CRM with visit history, tags and segments
  • Google review request after every visit (Growth and Pro)

Spas, salons and barbers

Appointments by therapist, stylist and room

Clients book by stylist, barber or therapist with real service times. Spas book therapist and room together. A rebooking reminder brings clients back on schedule, and a new client from your Instagram costs you nothing extra.

  • Real service times, by staff member
  • Rebooking reminders that bring clients back
  • Loyalty offers and coupons on every plan
  • WhatsApp campaigns to your client list (Growth and Pro)

THE RECEIPT

Your current platform vs FlowHub, with your numbers.

Take the figures from your last invoice. If FlowHub costs you more, this will tell you.

How your current platform charges you:
£ / month
£ per diner
diners

Count guests, not bookings. A table of four is four diners.

Example: about £2 per network cover (reported UK OpenTable fee) and a monthly plan equal to OpenTable Core's US list price ($299) converted at about £0.75 per US$1. UK plans are quote-based. Replace with your last invoice.

Compare with FlowHub:

Fees are only part of it. FlowHub has no marketplace, so it won't list you in front of new diners or clients the way an app can. What it does is get you booked on channels you own, and keep the guest list and every message to it with you.

HOW SETUP WORKS

Live in 48 hours, from one video call.

All onboarding is remote, by video call and WhatsApp, so it works the same in the UK as anywhere else.

  1. 01

    One video call

You tell us how you take bookings today: tables or treatments, staff, opening hours, the channels guests use.

  2. 02

    We build it for you

We build your booking page, import your guest list, connect your channels and write your first messages. You check it and approve it.

  3. 03

Run it next to what you have

Keep your current platform for the first two weeks. Compare what each one cost you on your own bookings, then decide.

QUESTIONS

What UK venue owners ask us.

Not answered here? Ask us on WhatsApp.

Can UK restaurants and salons use FlowHub?

Yes. Onboarding is remote: one video call, then we build your booking page, import your guest list and connect your channels. You usually go live within 48 hours, wherever your venue is.

How much does FlowHub cost in pounds?

Starter is £65, Growth £175 and Pro £279 a month. One flat fee, 0% commission on every booking. Today every plan is billed in Indonesian rupiah (IDR) and your bank converts at checkout, so the exact GBP amount on your statement can differ slightly. Local taxes may apply.

Does FlowHub charge cover fees like OpenTable or TheFork?

No. FlowHub charges one flat monthly fee and 0% commission on every booking, from every channel. A full Saturday costs the same as a quiet Tuesday.

I run a salon on Treatwell. What changes with FlowHub?

Clients book you on your own website, Google, Instagram and WhatsApp, and there is no commission on any of them, new or returning. FlowHub has no consumer marketplace, so if Treatwell brings you new clients you could not reach otherwise, keep it running alongside FlowHub for two weeks and compare.

Do you send reminders by SMS?

FlowHub's inbox handles WhatsApp, SMS and email in one place, and booking confirmations and reminders are included on every plan.

Is there a contract?

No contract and no cancellation fee. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. Your card is required, but you are not charged until day 15, and you can cancel before then.
